The Pink Locket: Jewellery subscription service

July's box: Brass gold bangles.
In my previous post about the Diembox local subscription service, I'm pretty sure I made it clear that I L-O-V-E subscription services. So when given the opportunity to try out The Pink Locket Jewellery Subscription Service, how could I pass that up?

The Pink Locket is the brainchild of Kamilah Campbell, a fellow Caribbean sista who resides in the US. She has vast knowledge about jewellery making (you can read more on her here) and all of her pieces are handmade. Yup!! You heard me.. HANDMADE. Her aesthetic is minimal, which I love because you can wear her pieces everyday. Let's look at the pieces I got:

August's box: Silver earrings.
With your first month's box you get a cloth along with instructions
on how to clean your jewellery.
With every box you get a cute thank you note and a lovely quote.
Wearing my jewellery out to a girls date with Alysia of Rewind and Come Again. I would wear these earrings everyday. Her pieces are light and definitely everyday wearable. The earrings remind me of steelpans which as a Trini girl I thoroughly love!!
Looks good don't they? The subscription service pricing is as follows (quoted in US$):
$19/month
$55/3 months
$109/6 months

Depending on what piece(s) you get, the value of the item each month can vary anywhere between $20-60 USD. So this something worth looking into. Of course for me not being in the US, there is the additional charge of skybox fees, which sadly dictates how many subscription services I can indulge in. Nonetheless, I would gladly recommend that you check this one out to get some of her amazing hand crafted pieces.

You can follow The Pink Locket on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr and Website.

So, would you wear these types of pieces? Are you a minimalist or an "all out there" type of jewellery person? Which one is your favourite? Leave a comment and let me know.

Regards,
Tshenelle aka Nelly B.
